  • NZCMRR Classic Racing Covid Re-opening
    Sunday February 6 2022

The 43rd NZCMRR Classic February Festival at Pukekohe Park Raceway is Covid Canned BUT WE STILL AIM TO GO RACING!

Due to Covid uncertainties we will not be running a Festival meeting this coming February - HOWEVER we aim to run a Championship round of racing on Sunday Feb 6th preceded by a MotoTT run track/practice day on Saturday Feb 5th. This track-day is also open for bookings by the public, so we suggest you book as soon as possible at  Under current Covid Government and Circuit restrictions, no matter what level of Traffic Light we are under,  everybody entering the circuit will need to be fully vaccinated and Covid Passes will be checked at the entry gate - NO PASS NO ENTRY.  Everyone will also be required to either scan or manually sign-in to the event at the gate. We will do our utmost to run a meeting; confirmation of whether spectators will be allowed and how and what extra restrictions and requirements may be in place will be updated here and sent to all entrants a week before the event along with a copy of the Riders briefing.

As we are all starved for some racing this will give us all an opportunity to get back on the bike and blow the cobwebs off.  So come along, have a great weekend and kick start your 2022 season.  With the loss of 3 rounds in 2021 we have decided to combine points already accrued to run a combined 2021-22 Championship series. Your 2021 points will be carried forward.

We have pencilled in some more weekends - April 15-17th at Taupo and April 29 -May 1 at Pukekohe.  Each will have a track day on the Friday followed by 2 days of racing. We will be watching how the Covid situation pans out and if circumstances permit we hope to run our Puke Festival at the end of April, with trophy races and all the trimmings.
