New Track Parade Events.

Our September 2011 Winter Classic meeting at Taupo will see the introduction of a new event at our race meetings. Each round of racing during the meeting will include a Track Parade, which will not be a race, but will be run over the same number of laps as the race events on that day.

The Track Parade is intended to give NZCMRR members the opportunity to ride in a non-competitive, more relaxed event. Track Parade events are ideal for rarer road or race bikes, and riders who want to get out on the track without the pressure of entering a race.

Track Parade Entry Requirements for Current Members.

  1. Enter online, as per normal race entries.
  2. Riders must hold a current MNZ Competition License.
  3. Machines and riders must pass machine and riding gear examination. A single front number board is required. If you are entering a second machine in the Track Parade, use your existing race number. If you do not have a race number, email contact@nzcmrr.com and a number will be allocated to you.
  4. Riders who are competing in race events on the day can enter the Track Parade on a machine they have not entered in a race event on the day.
  5. Riders who are competing in race events can lend their race machine to a non-racing rider to enter the Track Parade.

Track Parade Entry Requirements for Non Members.

To give potential new members the opportunity to experience an NZCMRR Race Meeting, a ONE TIME ONLY non member Track Parade entry is available, with the following requirements.

  1. Entries will be accepted on the day.
  2. Entries will be accepted at the discretion of The Clerk of The Course.
  3. Riders must purchase an MNZ Day License.
  4. Entry cost will be $120 for a 2 day meeting.
  5. Machines and riders must pass machine and riding gear examination.

The Track Parade will be part of our Hampton Downs, Taupo and Manfield meetings, so if you have a bike in the shed that hasn’t had a run for a while, enter the Track Parade at the next meeting, and come and have some fun!
